The articulated necklace designed as a series of C-shaped motifs, the frontispiece pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18K gold, signed Cartier, numbered, with maker's mark 'Sté HV' for Hamard Vitau, French assay mark, Swiss assay mark, with Cartier case, inner diameter 11cm, length approximately 42.5cm; Together with a pair of diamond earclips en suite, mounted in 18K gold, signed Cartier, numbered, with maker's mark 'PB' for Pierre Brun, French assay marks, Swiss assay marks, with Cartier case, length 2.8cm
Both workshops, Hamard Vitau & Pierre Brun, based in Paris, worked for Cartier, Fred, Van Cleef & Arpels amongst others.
